7/3/2008 - The Intervarsity team met with the Prime Minister of CAR to discuss a possible partnership between IVCF, Seattle Pacific University, CIDEL, & ICDI on two different occasions. The Prime Minister is a Christian and believes that God has put him in this position to help the people of C.A.R. more>
 
  Josue & Augustin's father passed away
7/3/2008 -  Word was received today that Josue and Augustin's father passed away. They had word early this week that he was in a coma and headed up country to their home town of Bocaranga. That part of the country is not stable so there is danger involved as they travel. more>

5/7/2008 - ICDI is now in the process of launching a carpentry shop, to train orphan boys who are also looking for skills that will allow them to provide for themselves. more>
 
  Sewing Center
5/7/2008 - Marie-Helene works full time for ICDI, teaching orphan girls to sew, knit, and crochet. She has also had a personal passion to start a Sewing Center for widows. more>
 
  Bridge out! Travel delays are a daily part of life.
4/13/2008 - Jim Hocking, ICDI CEO, writes from his recent trip:

"Traveling is always a challenge. This truck ended the use of this bridge for over a month so now we drive through the river in order to get around. So far we have made it both times we have had to travel this road and our drill rigs have not had to pass here yet." more>
